The Third

The thresholds of the body between the internal and the external are often difficult to define; the border is very often imperceptible, or indeterminable to locate absolutely. This liminal space of the body is one of ambiguity as it shifts constantly between one state and the other. It does not fit within the binary system of inside/outside, but instead creates an added space between these states of being. It evades labelling and avoids being named or categorised, and instead sits between those things that are named and tangible.
